About
The Via Viticola Winery is located in the oldest vineyard of Dobrogea, near the hills of Saricia and Niculițel. Even if, in essence, the way of selecting the grapes, their introduction into the winery and the traditional methods have been preserved, the new winemaking technologies are masterfully handled by our oenologists to accentuate the specific mark of the Sarica Niculitel area. One of the emblematic varieties of the vineyard is the Aligote, a variety that we grow with passion and skill.

Dobrogea does not mean only the Danube, the Delta or the Black Sea. Dobrogea also means traditional wineries and collectible wines. For this reason, to complete your experience on our lands, we recommend you to follow the Tulcean wine route.
We have gathered on this page the most famous wineries in the county. It is worth trying their wines in the restaurants in Tulcea, along with the delicious local dishes. But equally, we suggest you consider a tasting directly at the producer, in the cellar or on the terrace, for a truly authentic experience.
Learn the story behind each winery, see which resonates with you the most, and give them a call to find out when, if and where a group tasting is happening. It is good to know that private tastings can also be organized for larger groups upon request.

We are from the edge of the Delta, from the place where it was once called Hamangia. Today's Baia village, a few paddles away from Grindul Lupilor and Gura Portiței, where silence was born. An area where time doesn't rush and gives you a few pauses at every step. A sunrise to see. A bird to admire. A floating boat. A fishing story to listen to. Or a beach to stop.
And wine is somehow related to all these thoughts, places, moments. Most of the time we bring them to the surface more easily. So we feel that the wine we make, we make it for the one who still finds time to step aside and think. The one who can stand out from the crowd and refrain from going with the wave just because it's a wave.

Liuta Winery is located in the vineyard hills of Dobrogea in Babadag, among the villages full of history of the best wine. In Dobrogea, wine has always been produced, and what's more, the legend says that the Christianization of the people was started on this territory by Saint Andrew.
Also here, symbolically, the Liuta Winery was established, taking on this divine meaning over time. Both wine and table grapes are produced under the highest quality conditions thanks to the rich resources offered by this region. The nobility of red wine and the delicacy of dry or demi-sec white wine are certainly authentic.

The sun's rays fall gently on the Dobrogean land, the waves of the Danube pass gently by us and the Hercinian Mountains provide us with a splash of shade to rest. In this land torn from long-forgotten times is our home. A house that we built from the first planted cutting, a house that we continue to build and that we will take care of for centuries to come.
For us, wine is the gift we receive every year for this care, it is the reward we receive from the soil worked from the morning until the last ruby drop of sun.
He is a friend, and in every glass of decadent liquor we find ourselves, we lose ourselves, we tell our story. Wine is not a science. It is an art passed down from generation to generation, learned, stolen, borrowed, an art that constantly evolves, an art that makes us what we are: the Măcin Winery.
Our wine has a thousand definitions, a thousand interpretations, a thousand flavors. Because it is understood differently by each person, just like a story. A story of the Măcin Winery.
