The Tulcea Multipurpose Hall has 4438 seats and includes the main competition field, surrounded by stands for spectators and a training field located in the basement of the building, under the footprint of the main field, both fields having an official-sized handball playing surface (20x40m), underground parking.

"The Heroism of the Working Class in the Industrialization Process of Tulcea Municipality". This is the name of the mosaic in Civic Square (Mircea cel Bătrân) created in 1978 by artists Spiru Chintila, Romeo Voinescu and Constantin Georgescu.
